Description de Tu piges ?
Kurdy and Jeremiah are waiting for a bus at a remote stop in an arid steppe. When it arrives, two guys on horseback shoot a man coming off the bus, Palomino. Palomino was their little sister Jenny's boyfriend, a punk with green hair, who is now crying over a dead body. They want her to come home and, as a bonus, tell them where she stashed the emeralds. She royally tells them to fuck off and announces that she is now under the protection of Kurdy and Jeremiah, whom she has just met for the first time. The introductions are brief, but the punk doesn't care: she's happy to have won a new respite. Jeremiah and Kurdy were heading to visit Aunt Martha. So here they are, babysitting a punk who hasn't finished driving them crazy...Critique de Tu piges ?
This 38th volume of Jeremiah looks a lot like all the previous ones. It is even a sort of synthesis, which unfortunately does not transcend the series, but rather makes the fan go around in circles. The plot is predictable and leaves a frustrating taste regarding Jenny's previous situation and the emeralds. The sordid atmosphere is an essential aspect, but makes the plot cumbersome, with an ending that's not really surprising. Nevertheless, fans of the series will enjoy revisiting the murky universe of Jeremiah and Hermann's perfect mastery, even if newcomers may have trouble following along.8Note générale
