June Hackett, after 12 years of silence, receives a letter from her mother inviting her to visit the Hackett family manor before she dies. Despite the unnerving region and locals who consider her mother a witch responsible for strange disappearances, June decides to go. There she discovers the cursed history of her family.

Critique de Celui du sang

Freaks agency T1 Celui du sang uses all the clichés of the horror genre to create a thriller that recalls Stephen King's universe. The somewhat stereotypical plot is compensated by the excellent atmospheres created by François Baranger and his very cinematographic graphic treatment. The well-crafted lighting and the realism of the drawings, which seem to have been entirely rendered in 3D, give suspense to the story. Although the story is predictable and not very original, the mystery developed in this first volume promises to be clarified in the next episodes.
