Saudade is a mostly generic comic, keeping close to the usual American comics style and not really bringing anything new or unique to the table, even with scenes of violence and humor. Buchet's artwork is of good quality, but Pezzali's coloring lacks originality. While it's an enjoyable read, it's not particularly memorable.
