Critique de Weird Fantasy

Despite its historical importance as a piece of comic book history, I was not convinced by Weird Fantasy. The stories were short and predictable, with a touch of black romance. This could have been interesting if the quality of the drawings had matched the dark atmosphere of the stories, but unfortunately this was not the case. The drawings were too simplistic and did not allow for a total immersion into the story. I would recommend this comic mainly to science-fiction fans of the 1950s, who may find it a nostalgia trip, but others may find the reading rather average.
