Description de Sherlock Holmes contre les zombies !
Victorian Undead Sherlock Holmes contre les zombies is all about the adventure of the famous detective and his assistant as they face a zombie invasion in Victorian London. Upon intervening on an underground construction site where an inanimate body still moves, they discover a deserted city that houses zombies. The story is well-crafted and plays on a deliberately B-movie atmosphere. The realistic drawing by Davidé Fabbri is detailed and charming to look at. Overall, this adventure is a very enjoyable popcorn read, differing from other works that merge zombies and the Victorian era. However, the most purist fans of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's original work might be disappointed by this adaptation.Critique de Sherlock Holmes contre les zombies !
The idea of confronting Sherlock Holmes with zombies might seem far-fetched, but the story is cleverly crafted and plays with a self-conscious B-movie atmosphere. The drawings by Davidé Fabbri are realistic and filled with detail. This adventure is an enjoyable popcorn read, especially when compared to other works that merge zombies and the Victorian era. The only drawback is that the most purist fans of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's original work might be disappointed by this adaptation.8Note générale
