Ultimate Comics: Avengers Thor / Captain America / Hawkeye is a comic book that comprises three standalone stories. The first story follows the protagonist Thor, the God of Thunder, as he undergoes testing in a research program for super-soldiers. The second story focuses on Captain America, who is sent to North Korea to put an end to an illegal superhero project. The third and final story depicts Hawkeye's mission to stabilize a situation in the new SHIELD base in Bangkok.

Overall, reading this comic does not disappoint, but the three stories presented are not of equivalent quality. The Thor saga written by Jonathan Hickman and illustrated by Carlos Pacheco is well executed, but it can be difficult for new readers of the Ultimate universe to understand. Similarly, the story featuring Hawkeye does not live up to expectations despite the excellent illustrations by Rafa Sandoval. However, the thoughts developed in the unpublished story written by Jason Aaron about Captain America are quite effective. This collection can be read without boredom, but it may not impress casual readers.
