The Grey Witch and her army have arrived at a village where the inhabitants have been duped into sacrificing themselves to help open the seal that will enable the world to be reformed. However, despite the impending apocalypse, the heroes see a possibility of victory with Screaming Crow in their midst. This last volume is an epic conclusion to the story that ties up loose ends and leaves little room for a spin-off. The artwork from Brian Hurtt is magnificent, capturing the end-of-the-world atmosphere perfectly.
