Description de The Haunt of Fear T3
The Haunt of Fear's third tome by Akileos takes us back to the early 1950s and presents us with 28 horror stories illustrated by Black and White masters such as Graham Ingels, George Evas and Jack Kamen. Each story delivers its share of little horrors with a deliciously tangy flavor, from brain switching to reinterpreted tales where princes and princesses commit terrible acts. Two adaptations of Ray Bradbury's screenplays complete this 200-page book.Critique de The Haunt of Fear T3
While The Haunt of Fear is a classic of American comics and this Akileos reissue will allow the most nostalgic to revisit the horror atmosphere of the 1950s, I found this third tome to be disappointing. Although the drawings are of quality, the stories lack originality and punch. None of them really transported me into the universe of horror, and I was left unsatisfied. If you're a fan of this type of comics, you can let yourself be tempted by the cast of illustrators, but otherwise, I would not recommend this book.12Note générale
