Description de Les maîtres de l'évasion
Maxwell Roth inherited a large collection of comics featuring the superhero 'The Escapist' upon the death of his father. Years later, he decides to relaunch the series and spends most of his inheritance to buy the rights. He enlists his friend Denny for inking and a young artist named Case Weaver. Their first issue is a success, and Denny embarks on an adventure to save employees of a supermarket locked in by their boss and is confronted by robbers. 'Escapists' by Brian K. Vaughan is an entertaining and well-crafted story that offers a good glimpse into the world of comics and the difficulty of breaking through as an artist. The narrative structure is a true model of the genre, and the artwork by Jason Shawn Alexander and Steve Rolston is of high quality.Critique de Les maîtres de l'évasion
However, the story lacks depth and originality, making it a pleasant but not necessarily memorable read. Nevertheless, 'Escapists' is a real treat for fans of Brian K. Vaughan and a delightful comic book to discover for the curious.12Note générale
