Description de Pas de quartiers

The Crow - Midnight Legends T1 Pas de quartiers tells the story of Michael and Jane, a married couple who were brutally attacked by a gang of thugs fifteen years ago. Michael, who was left for dead, wakes up one day with a terrible headache and is approached by a group of crows who offer him the chance to avenge his wife's death by becoming The Crow. The story follows Michael as he tracks down the members of the gang and seeks justice for his wife's murder. This one-shot is part of a collection of revenge stories inspired by James O'Barr's original The Crow.

Critique de Pas de quartiers

Although The Crow is a popular character with a devoted following, Jerry Prosser's first issue of Midnight Legends falls short in delivering a remarkable story. The narration and plot are rather predictable and have been seen before in many other revenge stories. The artwork by Charlie Adlard, while possessing his signature rough style, lacks the refinement seen in his other works. While the idea of The Crow seeking revenge is interesting, the execution of the story leaves something to be desired. Overall, this first issue falls short in comparison to the original The Crow and fails to meet the expectations of fans.
