Description de Enfants de l'étoile (kiosque)
The Avengers V 4, T5 Children of the Star is a collection of comics that includes Avengers (vol.5), New Avengers (vol.3), Secret Avengers (vol.2), and Young Avengers (vol.2). The Avengers storyline follows Nightmask and Starbrand as they face off against Ex Nihilo and Abyss on Mars. In New Avengers, the Illuminati clash with Terrax on another planet. Secret Avengers features Hawkeye and Black Widow as they try to take down AIM's leader, and Young Avengers conclude their series with Loki as their unlikely savior. While the artwork is visually stunning, the overall story falls short of expectations. The comics do introduce new threats but rely too heavily on old tropes and tricks, which ultimately dulls the impact. The standout of the collection is Secret Avengers, which offers the most action and intrigue.Critique de Enfants de l'étoile (kiosque)
As a journalist and comic critic, I was disappointed by The Avengers V 4, T5 Children of the Star. The comics start with promise, introducing new threats, but quickly fall back into old tropes and tricks that we have seen before. Jonathan Hickman, the writer of Avengers, manages to create interesting new villains in Ex Nihilo and Abyss, but ultimately their story arc falls short of expectations. The artwork from Dustin Weaver, Mike Deodato Jr, and Steve Epting is visually stunning and beautifully rendered, but the overall story fails to soar. New Avengers similarly creates a promising storyline with the Illuminati confronting Terrax, but it is ultimately overshadowed by the monotonous plot. Secret Avengers stands out as the best of the collection, with plenty of action and intrigue. Hawkeye and Black Widow make a great team as they take down AIM's leader. Lastly, Young Avengers wraps up its series nicely with Loki coming to the rescue. However, it is not enough to save the collection from being just average. Overall, The Avengers V 4, T5 Children of the Star is a triple-A read but does not provide anything groundbreaking or innovative. It is a solid collection for fans of the Avengers franchise, but it falls short of expectations for comic enthusiasts looking for something new and fresh.12Note générale
