Description de Udaku (intégrale)

Sam & Twitch tells the story of two former police officers who become private detectives but struggle to make their agency successful. When they are offered the chance to return to the police force by their former lieutenant, they accept. However, their first case leads them to investigate body parts that are found without any connection to the corpses. The only clue they have is the mysterious word 'Udaku'. The first volume of Sam & Twitch, created by Todd McFarlane and written by Brian Michael Bendis, is a dark and gritty story that builds tension gradually. The corruption within the police force adds to the challenge in solving the case. The artwork by Angel Medina is exceptional, with strong character designs and thrilling angles. The only criticism is that the ending becomes too fantastical, but overall, this collection is a great read for fans of crime thrillers or those new to the genre.

Critique de Udaku (intégrale)

Sam & Twitch Vol. 1 is an excellent comic book that showcases the talents of its creators. Todd McFarlane and Brian Michael Bendis craft a gripping story that is rooted in the hard-boiled detective genre but has supernatural elements that amp up the suspense. The characters of Sam and Twitch are well developed, and their contrasting personalities create an interesting dynamic. The supporting cast is also fascinating, particularly the corrupt police officers who obstruct the investigation. Angel Medina's art is a highlight of the book, and his ability to create haunting imagery and convey emotions through facial expressions is impressive. The only flaw is the ending, which feels like a departure from the story's grounded tone. However, this doesn't undermine the overall quality of the book. Whether you're a fan of crime fiction or just looking for a gripping read, Sam & Twitch Vol. 1 is a must-read.
