Hero Corp T1 Les Origines is set in 1985 in Montreal. Superheroes are no longer able to protect the city from a gang of supervillains. John and Jane, two beings with superpowers, give birth to a little girl, whose fate is closely linked to that of all the protectors of Montreal.

Critique de Les Origines

For fans of the TV series, the album is definitely worth a read. The story brings new revelations and the artwork pays tribute to the actors' features with pleasant clarity and brightness. The ironic and laid-back humour that is characteristic of Hero Corp is present throughout the story. However, for newcomers, reading may be difficult due to the lack of character introductions and confusion between villains and heroes. It will be necessary to wait for the next volumes to see what the authors have in store for us.
