Annie is a young woman who loves to dress up as her favorite heroes. Nicknamed Otakon, she meets a photography and video enthusiast named Verti at a convention. The two become friends and start creating new costumes and short films, in which Annie interacts with strangers that Verti then edits together. Always striving for more views on online video sites, the two women sometimes receive recognition. The most surprising development occurs when an agent offers to help them produce a film after seeing their work. If the pilot is successful, producers may invest in their project.
